Good morning PLMHA members!

Registration for the upcoming 2022-23 hockey season is now open.  Please go to the Registration page on the PLMHA website to complete the online registration.

For those wishing to try out for a higher level team that PLMHA does not offer - For those that have a child or children that would like to try out for a higher level team that PLMHA does not have (i.e. Silver Seven, Titans, etc.), you MUST register with PLMHA prior to the respective team tryouts, selecting the applicable registration package for your player, the fundraising fee (unless you have another child in PLMHA that won't be trying out then please add the fundraising fee to their registration) and the "Higher Level competitive fee".  At that time you are ONLY required to pay the $25 higher level competitive fee (which is non-refundable) to PLMHA.  Should your child or children be released from the tryout, then you will be required to pay the balance of the registration amount in full to PLMHA.  If your child or children are planning on playing Rep B in Perth, DO NOT select this competitive fee at time of registration.

For the upcoming season for PLMHA:

PLMHA Rep B - At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in April, a motion was passed to have all of PLMHA Rep B teams play out of the City B League, as opposed to the UCMHL that we have been a guest in for several years now.  What that means for PLMHA is there is an opportunity to have 2 Rep B teams at every level, one being a "minor" team (i.e. U12) and one being a "major" team (i.e. U13).  There will be a link to a questionnaire set up on the PLMHA website in the near future for parents to complete, just letting us know whether or not your child is interested in playing at the Rep B level because we need to have an idea, late summer of what teams we may or may not be having.  Please watch the website or facebook page for that questionnaire and I ask that you please fill it out.  Import players from 2021-22 will also be able to complete it, which will allow us to know how many imports we may or may not have.

Socks - Also at the AGM it was decided that PLMHA will be purchasing socks for every player, which will be handed out at one of the conditioning sessions in August/September.  One pair has already been included in the registration fee so there is not cost for them to the parents.  Should they get lost, or disgusting looking, then parents can purchase additional socks from the PLMHA equipment convenor.  Players will NOT be permitted to wear any other pair of socks for game play, they must wear the PLMHA provided socks as this is part of the uniform requirements.  (Note:  this does not include the U7 division, as they get Tim Hortons supplied socks and jerseys).

Rep B Tryout/Competitive Fees - There is an increase to the Rep B tryout fees for the upcoming season.  The cost will be $200, payable at the first tryout ice time, which still includes a tryout jersey to keep, but should the child be released from the tryout, $100 will be returned to the parents.  These fees are NOT to be etransferred to PLMHA, but rather parents can bring cash or cheques to the first tryout.

Out of Town User Fee - This is for any player registered with PLMHA that does not reside in the following townships:  Town of Perth, Drummond North Elmsley, Tay Valley or Lanark Highlands.  There will be a $250 Out of Town User fee for each player that will be added to your child's registration.

If there are any questions regarding registration or anything else indicated in this email and or the attachment, please don't hesitate to ask.
